Schedule of EHRA team during the 23d International AIDS Conference:
Monday, 6 July
Symposia session – Where did our voices go? HIV advocacy in a noisy landscape
Room: Symposia and bridging sessions On-Demand Channel
Session Description: Advocacy happens in response to a disparity and inequity. HIV advocacy has a history of powerful effectiveness because it was a grassroots-driven response to a crisis. We have lost that momentum because there have been fractures and the people most affected experience a continued history of disenfranchisement even before encountering the system of HIV care. How can we reclaim the momentum?

Session Description: Isolation can be a direct result of internalized stigma and, in turn, it impacts health and wellness as well as different forms of social participation including using health services and participating in community activities.
