Drug Users News (DUNews) is an initiative group of like-minded people who has been engaged in video advocacy since November 2015. DUNews make their videos in Russian primarily for people who use drugs, as well as for other communities vulnerable to HIV.

Unlike the previous years, when the chronological format of films did not exceed 20-30 minutes and generally was filmed in one location, in 2018 one of the movie titled “DEMARGINALIZATION” was filmed in 7 locations (Kaliningrad, Moscow, St. -Petersburg, Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan and Yekaterinburg) and had a longer period of production, including shooting, post mastering and distribution (production of posters, translation, subtitling, etc.). Therefore, the number of films in 2018 was revised and reduced to 8 per year.
