The criminalization of people who use psychoactive substances in the Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia region (as well as all over the world), instead of maintenance of public health and safety, increases the financial and social burden on the states.
Today, tomorrow and through many years, incarceration should not be considered as a solution for drug-related issues. Incarceration is ineffective in reducing drug law offences and does not reduce problems – it just creates more! It is time for action. Time for Support. Dont Punish!
